As an owner of 6 Airbnb's, I thought I had it all figured out. In fact, people usually come to me for advice on this topic. However, the most recent slow season was tougher than usual in my area. So, I was looking for a couple of pointers to help improve things. I tried a few blogs but most stated things I already knew. I found this book and figured that if I learned just one trick, I would make my money back in just one rental. Well, I found TONS! Seriously, there were so many things in this book that I had not thought of. The author used to work at Airbnb and even mentions that he manages a few. So, he knows from experience. I'm working on each of my listings now to be in line with his guidance. And I already see the benefits. I highly recommend this book to any Airbnb owner. Like I said earlier, it will pay for itself in a matter of days, even if you only take one piece of advice that he gives.

So we had been looking at property out of state as a rental property. The process took about two years, but it all started with this COMPREHENSIVE little book. This lady knows her stuff. IT may not be as in-depth in EVERY single area. Still, it gives you a good overall summary of where you don't feel overwhelmed with information. She puts the cookies on the bottom shelf and helps you to understand in simple terms what something like this entails. Long story short - based on her book, we found the perfect condo and decided to go for it. EVERYTHING that I have done in our Purchase, closing, insurance, search, decoration has all stemmed from what I learned in this little book. If you're a beginner, learning to manage a vacation rental, this book is full of How To's. It's a must-read. Michael did a great job of sharing his experiences, both good and bad. He teaches where to invest your time and focus. If you're seasoned or experienced, it's still a must-read. My wife and I started a resort rental business in the late 1990's. I still learn a lot from this book. I have more bookmarks in this book than any other I've read. What I appreciate most about the book is the theme throughout the book is to be the best. To provide the best experience possible for your guest and how to do that. To be the best manager of short-term rentals and how to do that. If you want to start on the right foot or take your vacation rental business to the next level, I suggest reading this book. You will enjoy the book and learn much.

In general, I'm a big fan of Symon He's work - his Udemy Real Estate courses as well as his Linked In Learning classes. Symon has a real ability to breakdown complex subjects into simple, easy-to-understand structured components. He's a great addition as a Dummy writer. This book shares one thing in common with all of the courses I've taken with Symon - Lots of examples! I'm the type of learner who really benefits from going through examples and different scenarios. His advice in this book is also data-driven, not just opinions or hearsay from others. I think this can be a great resource for both Airbnb hosts as well as those interested in investing in Airbnb rentals.
